As soon as schools are out, DigiDestined's families meet each other for a Christmas Holidays reunion. Everything seems perfect as always until their digimon partners start to freeze and vanish. 
Using his computer skills Izzy manages to save their kid's digital friends, so the children decide to go to the digital world to understand what happened and bring back on Earth all datas and vaccines. Unfortunately they'll find out that dark forces on Digiworld are stronger than ever and that this time staying together will be the most difficult as well as the most important part of the fight.
